To all users - I spoke to Avaya and they are working on a patch that will be loaded to those systems that required to change time due to daylight savings time. The patch will be loaded in the firest quarter of 2007. Maybe avaya will post a more official notice.

UPDATE REGARDING DAYLIGHT SAVINGS PLAN PATCH Due to a recent update from HP to update the HP-UX on February 12, the Avaya patches for PDS v12 and PC 3.0 were pulled back from testing and re-engineered to account for the recent update from HP. The PDS v12 patch is scheduled to be released TODAY, February 19 and will be available to all customers with a maintenance agreement with Avaya. The Avaya PDS Support team will be opening Maestro tickets and contacting customers to coordinate the installation. The PC 3.0 should follow shortly. Users without an Avaya maintenance contract can email me at almann@avaya.com and I can provide the manual instructions and things to be aware of during the DST interval from old to new timings. NOTE: There is more needed than just changing the time on the system. Many customers may have received an email indicating there are alternative sources for obtaining the DST patch. Avaya is the only authorized provider of the DST patch for PDS v12/PC 3.0.

THe DST patches for PDS v12 and PC 3.0 were released late on Monday. These patches are free to customers with Avaya maintenance. If you have not been contacted by Avaya Support yet, feel free to contact me at almann@avaya.com and I will get you in touch with the assigned resource. For non-maintenance customers we have the manual instructions and impacts you need to know about the manual changes.

DST PATCH Update....THe Avaya team has been contacting customers and scheduling the patch installs to qualified sites. For PDS customers without a maintenance agreement the DST patch is available from Avaya CS&I by calling 877-361-8643, prompt 5. They will be able to coordinate the purchase and notify the support group for installation. If you wish to purchase the official Avaya patch and installation please call TODAY as March 11 is drawing near. For questions, please contact me at almann@avaya.com.
