Several folks asked about the availablity of VoIP from the old site ... (I believe one of them was Mark Trees). Any rate, this was my response prior to the old user group shutting down:
Singo Solution has been able to design a VoIP gateway which hooks directly into the Mosaix/Avaya agent spans and deliver the agent audio as SIP traffic to any SIP compliant softphone or hard-wired phone. This has been used at our facility for a while - we've been able to create great voice quality while keeping the networking requirements very low - roughly 4kbps for each voice connection - which basically means that we can easily handle over 100 agent connects on a single internet/data T1.
We can also help configure your Mosaix for this new setup - cost is very reasonable. Rough estimate is around $2k per Mosaix span + installation, configuration, training and travel expenses (if needed). On-going support for the product is required, but only run about $400/month for the first 24 agents. After that, the per agent amount is even less.
Since we are able to tap into your agent audio, we can also provide digital recording solutions as well - I think you will find this solution SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper & more reliable than any solution out there on the market. These recordings can then be accessed via php pages by your management team.
We also offer SSL and IPSEC encryption for free - so that your VoIP traffic does not get intercepted should you choose to utilize remote agents. Obviously, this is not needed if you plan on deploying the SIP solution on your internal LAN or existing secured WAN.
If you are interested, we also do Mosaix Support for both versions 11 and 12. In addition, if you are running low on Mosaix Capacity, we host almost 800 of our own Mosaix agent seats via the SIP compliant IP network as described above. If you want further details, I'd be happy to give you our basic pricing structure - I think you would find it very attactive - especially when u combine it with features such as DVR. We've found that we can normally host the equipment cheaper than what most companies have to spend on monthly outbound T1 access charges, Avaya Support, etc, etc.
