Question for any of you ESP folks on clhash.

Currently on our 12.0 systems if you run a clhash of a list you see something like the following output:

Create Hash Index
SUCCESSFUL
clhash listx FIELDX
1000 - Records
1000 - Record Number
1000 - Indexed
0 - Unavailable

However in the 4.0 system, when I run a clhash I get the following:

Create Hash Index
SUCCESSFUL
clhash listx FIELDX
1000 - Records
1000 - Record Number
999 - Indexed
0 - Unavailable

So with the 4.0 clhash it is one record lower.

Was a change made to clhash between 12.0 and 4.0?

ESP are users trained on both hardware and software to the point of having comand line access to the dialer. At this time AVAYA may or may not provide this training, the last word we have is it's no longer given.t’s too bad as most of those that can pass the certification are the best in the call center industry and can take the product to new levels.

Hmmm. I haven't seen that (yet). I was on a customer site this past week (v3.x), and we did see some interesting things with record numbers. Depending on what we were doing/checking, sometimes the first record was 0, and sometimes it was 1. That leads me to wonder if there's really an issue with clhash or if the issue is with the counter.

One way to test would be to dump the key fields for those 1000 records into a batch campaign update file and run it. If all the records are indexed, the STATUSFLAG will be C on all of them.

Just remember that dialer files are semi-Biblical in that, oftentimes, the last (record) becomes the first, and the first becomes last.
