It's time to start nominating what charity we raise money for at the 2009 Conference.
I have it on good authority that if we pick a charity benefiting SPCA or another animal charity, that Alex Demczek promises to dress up in a doggie costume.
Send any nominees to anyone on the User Committee.

I vote for Autism Speaks. They fund research for Autism Disorder. Well my son has Asperger's Disorder which is a high functioning form of Autism. So that's my vote.

My 6 year old has Autism and I definitely support having Autism Speaks as our charity this year. My wife is on the Autism Walk committee in Austin, TX and our son Drew has a walk team called Andrew's Army. We would be incredibly grateful if the charitable gift could be contibuted to his team which will go directly to Autism Speaks. I can provide more information on how to make a donation to his team if needed.

I just looked up the date of the Austin Walk and it is 10/11/09 so it could be just in time to make a donation for our local walk.
I would grateful no matter how the funds got to Autism Speaks. Whether directly to the organization, through a walk, or any other means, this is a great organization and a worthy cause.

I can do this since my wife is on the committee for the Autism Speaks fundraising walk in Austin Texas. Please email me at charles.shields@tgslc.org or call me at 512-219-4648 and I would be happy to help.
